The day had finally arrived to deliver the five tier snowflake extravaganza to Chilston Park, Lenham…the bride and groom had been hoping for snow thankfully for us delivering the cake we were just dealing with rain!
The bride and groom’s colours of red and white looked perfect for an amazing New Year’s Wedding set in the beautiful Kent countryside.
After much discussion four different flavours were agreed upon – rich fruit cake, raspberry and white chocolate, strawberry and champagne and our personal favourite lemon.
Alternate tiers were either covered in sparkling white sugar spindles or lightly embossed with shimmering snowflakes. This was finished with handmade cascading snowflakes and crystal snowflakes provided by the bride and groom.
We had so much fun making this design because although very Christmassy it was unusual to be asked to make a wedding cake for New Year’s Eve.
