Valentines Day Cookies at Holiday Extras

Valentines Cookies by Bluebell Kitchen

Holiday Extras and it’s sister company, Shortbreaks must be one of the best places to work in Kent, in fact the UK! Where else would every member of staff be given a handmade Madagascan vanilla cookie on Valentines Day?  Ten days before Valentines Day we had a last minute enquiry from Stefanie at Holiday Extras

“I realise it’s probably a little last minute, but wondered about the possibility of an order heart shaped biscuits for valentines day?”

We worked closely with them last year making many, many macarons for Mac Appreciation Day, so being asked again to create something personal for Valentines Day was a definite yes!

Every cookie was lovingly handmade by Erica and Charlie and our fantastic intern, Barney iced in traditional Valentine colours of red and white and then personalised with “Love HX” and “Love SB”….

We received a lovely email a few days later and spotted a couple of their team members enjoying a few of the cookies on Facebook (photos courtesy of Holiday Extras).

The cookies are absolutely delicious, look great and went down a treat with everyone across the two businesses!

We’ve been cookie baking mad for the last few days and are now enjoying a few of the leftovers!
