As all of our cakes are lovingly bespoke, the price depends on a number of factors. However, we know it’s useful to have a starting point. So how much does a wedding cake cost? Here’s our price guide, which will depend on the size and style of cake you’re going for. We’re more than happy to chat through the different options during our emails, calls, and meetings, and always provide a detailed quote, because the only thing we care more about than good cake is happy couples!

2 Tier

2 tier wedding cake from £515.00

Average investment from £585.00 - £685.00+

Example 2 tier wedding cake (5", 7") feeds approx 50 portions

3 Tier

Our starting prices above are based on round tiers in our signature flavours, covered in silky homemade chocolate ganache and a delectable fondant or buttercream finish. Decorations such as sugar flowers, intricate texturing, ruffles, marble or other hand-painted elements will be an additional cost, as will bespoke flavours. We hope this helps to answer your question as to how much a wedding cake costs. We'll happily discuss all of these options with you. Creating the cake for each of our couples is our favourite part!

How big should our wedding cake be for our number of guests?

Will dummy tiers save us money?

If you’re googlng “how much does a wedding cake cost?” because you want a big cake but not as many portions, then replacing real cake tiers with imitation tiers will reduce the cost slightly. However, it is only a minimal reduction. This is because a significant proportion of the price of a wedding cake is for your handmade design e.g. sugar flowers, hand painting, texture and many more, which is still required on an imitation tier.

Do you deliver your wedding cakes?

Of course! We deliver and set up all of our wedding cakes. If your wedding is within 20 miles of our studio in Maidstone, Kent, then we don’t charge for delivery and setup. If your wedding is outside of this radius, additional delivery charges may apply, and these will all be detailed in your quote.
